Had I a wand to conjure change
🌱 If I Had a Wand to Conjure Change, I Would Plant Trees
By Parvi
Trees provide us with clean air by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. They protect the soil from erosion, bring rain, and maintain the balance of nature. Birds, insects, and animals depend on trees for food and shelter. Even human beings feel peace and freshness under their shade. Unfortunately, due to urbanization and careless deforestation, we are cutting down more trees than we plant. Forests are disappearing, temperatures are rising, and our planet is suffering.
| If I truly had a magical wand, I would create forests in dry lands, shade in hot cities, and gardens in schools and hospitals. I would make it possible for every child to grow up with a tree — to care for it, talk to it, and watch it grow. My magic would bring back balance and beauty to places that are now polluted and empty. Cities would breathe again. Villages would bloom again. The earth would feel alive again. |
However, real change does not come from magic. It comes from action, awareness, and responsibility. We do not need a wand to plant trees — we need the will to begin. Even a single sapling planted today can become a tall tree tomorrow. Each of us can contribute to a greener world by planting and protecting trees. A garden, a roadside tree, or a school courtyard — every green spot matters.
As a famous proverb says,
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.”
In conclusion, if I had a wand to conjure change, I would use it to plant trees and heal the planet. But even without a wand, I can still make a difference. Maybe we are the wand — with hands to plant, hearts to care, and voices to inspire. Change begins with us.
